The savings that can be recognized when you order business checks online has caused many company owners to make the switch. Web-based printers typically charge ten to thirty percent less than most financial institutions. This translates into a significant annual savings in overhead for many companies.

Business checks come in three major types. Many company owners aren't aware that the same ones are available on the Web as at the bank. In fact, you can purchase all of the same types as you can buy at your local financial institution. The three major types include:

1) Continuous: Continuous forms are designed for dot matrix printers. Each separate one is connected by a perforation so that they can be fed into the printer. This allows them to be printed "continuously", as they are so-called.

This variety is not as popular as they once were. Dot matrix printers have been largely replaced by other types of printers (namely laser ones). However, some businesses still use and prefer this type of printer.

2) Laser: This type is the "modern" version of its continuous cousin. This type can be printed from a laser printer.

ATT Prepaid Wireless

Having merged with Cingular, AT&T is now the No. 1 wireless service provider in the USA. They began to change the name from Cingular to AT&T in January 2007, with the final transition taking place in June 2007.

Headquartered in Atlanta, AT&T GoPhone offers one of the more flexible prepaid plans of the major providers. They take full advantage of their national network and provide a comprehensive prepaid service.

Pros

Having both a true prepaid (pay-as-you-go) service and a monthly plan prepaid service helps AT&T appeal to a wider audience. Their rates are reasonable, and they offer ways you can save even more (like the one dollar per day fee that reduces call rates to 10 cents per minute). Great phone selection. Having a national network is useful for those who travel frequently.

Cons

The rates are still a little higher than many other prepaid services.

Plans

AT&T offers two styles of prepaid sevice. Pay as You Go is a traditional prepaid service, offering set per minute rates. Calls are billed at 25 cents per minute. However, customers can choose to lower that to 10 cents per minute by paying a one dollar daily fee (only on days a the phone is used). Those one dollar per day customers can also add 3,000 off-peak minutes to their plan for 20 dollars. They also have unlimited calling to all AT&T subscribers nationwide. Pick Your Plan allows you to pay a set amount each month, rather than topping off when you run out of minutes. Plans start at $29.99 for a 15 cents per minute rate, and go up to $69.99 per month for a 10.8 cents per minute rate. All text messaging and data charges are deducted from the overall monthly charge, meaning if you use these services, you won't get the maximum number of minutes from the plan. All but the $29.99 plan have unlimited mobile to mobile minutes. The $39.99 plan (13.3 cents per minute) comes with 500 night and weekend minutes, the $49.99 plan (12.5 cents per minute) comes with 3,000 night and weekend minutes, and the $69.99 plan comes with unlimited nights and weekends.
